There are pictures here of course, but this is not about my photography business as such. If that's what you're after, please click on this link and it will take you to my business site. If you want to get in touch with me more directly, you can use the facebook tool below, or you can always call me at 209.743.9649

I hope you all find one site as beautiful as the other. Take a little time, when you have it, to drop me a line and let me know what you think. I like hearing from my friends; even those I haven't met yet.

Stickin' close to home.

Surgery took more out of me than I'd expected. I thought about posting some pictures of my tore up torso...but they're too gross.

When in doubt shoot the kids.

Aliana has not been the best subject lately, mostly because she hides up on the hill with a book. I can't blame her, as I'd be up there too if I did not have to work. She did come down and do some planting however, so here she is. Oldest daughter in the dirt.

I think they're bulbs meant to yield red flowers. That reminds me of my dear dead dad. He had a whole bunch of red flowers planted outside his house in his last year. One of the last really cool things he and I did together was to attend my brother's wedding in PA. I have pictures of him there getting little seeds or berries or something handed to him by Aliana. He was overjoyed.

I think he'd like these pictures.

Dress Up Day

Every day is dress up day for Elizabeth. Today she got this little bridal bit together all on her own. Perhaps I'll use it for a web illustration for booking wedding photography. Perhaps not. With or without the exploitation by dear old dad, the kid is quite fetching. I like the orange flowers...fakies for December. Planting for real ones begins soon. Pops has decided to help us along and we've got a HUGE pile of seeds started in his sun room. Fencing for the garden is complete and the pasture fence is now ready for the bull to arrive.

Fun on the farm.

Hello Francine

Here's a picture of Ellie and her new haircut. She's got that whole tussled thing going really well. Looks totally natural on the swing. She loves the swing. Here's another picture of pizza we made last night. All ingredients except the flour were home-made. Cheese, sauce, dough....all made at home. Pretty good too. Put on some socks...another pair. It's cold. We love you.

Mad as a Hatter

Ellie and Daddy got tea sets for Christmas, so we had a little tea party before our proper feast. If you were here we'd offer you something nice to eat with your tea. Ellie has a lot of doilies, so we're all set for a formal occaision. I don't have any doilies myself, but she tells me I can borrow some from her any time I want.

I am relieved. What would the new year be without doilies.

Branch Manger

No creche as yet, but we may get there by the end of the week. For now, Robin and the kids went up the hill and found a nice lookin' branch and pulled it off the tree. Don't worry, we have lots of trees. It seems Penny (Robin's mom) has lots of decorations, so we added some of hers to ours and let Aliana do the final touches...and I think it might be the most beautiful tree (branch) I've ever seen. It reminds me a lot of something my Grandmere might have done. Melle Kalikimaka to all!

Ice Ice Baby

We have had a freeze for a couple of days. No snow at our place, but all the surrounding towns seem to be snowed in pretty well. Izzy found ice in the troughs for the goats and cattle. It was beautiful so I took a picture of it. I do that from time to time. I think Robin's photography has effected mine...it's all beginning to look alike. Is that what happens to couples who shoot together? I'll have to do something about that...Perhaps it's because most of what I post here is for her. Like the ice...this is beautiful but in the end will not last.

Underwear Model

It's been a long time since I did a lingerie shoot. How my life has changed.
